Iowa State University

Since 1858, Iowa State University has grown from a campus of lavish green spaces to one that includes a formal urban grid. As part of a Site Analysis/Needs Assessment project for the university, we discovered that pedestrians were disoriented when passing from the organic to the urban spaces due to a lack of effective directional signage. Our schematics and preliminary mapping studies provided the foundation for the wayfinding solutions needed in the next phases of the project.
